The business has confirmed that the Poco C71 will launch in India later this week. The forthcoming phone’s design, color variations, and essential features—such as the display, construction, battery, camera, and processor—were also disclosed. The smartphone’s pricing range has also been alluded to in advertising graphics. The phone is anticipated to replace the Poco C61, which made its national debut in March 2024. A MediaTek Helio G36 SoC and up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM were included with the C61.

In an X post, the company stated that the Poco C71 will launch in India on April 4 at 12 p.m. IST. A link to the Flipkart website for the phone is included in the post’s caption. According to promotional photos on the website, the phone will cost less than Rs. 7,000 in the nation. Notably, the base 4GB + 64GB Poco C61 model cost Rs. 6,999 when it was first released in India.
The Poco C71’s display seems to sport a centered waterdrop notch to accommodate the front camera, tiny side bezels, and a somewhat larger chin. The SIM card slot is on the left edge, and the power button and volume rocker are on the right.
The Poco C71 will include a 6.88-inch screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and triple TÜV Rheinland eye-protection certification, which includes low blue, light, flicker-free, and circadian certifications, the company further disclosed. According to the teasers, the display will feature wet touch, which would enable customers to use the tablet while their hands are wet.
It will support 15W wired charging and have a 5,200mAh battery. According to reports, the Poco C71 has an IP52 rating for protection to dust and splashes. It will include a fingerprint sensor positioned on the side for security. The smartphone’s optics will consist of a 32-megapixel primary sensor and a dual back camera set. It will have a selfie camera with 8 megapixels.
According to rumors, the Poco C71 would include 6GB of RAM and an octa-core CPU with an AnTuTu score of over 3,00,000. Up to an extra 6GB of virtual RAM expansion to 12GB is reportedly supported. Additionally, the phone will allow a storage extension of up to 2TB. It will come pre-installed with Android 15 and is expected to receive four years of security patches in addition to two years of Android OS upgrades.
