On Tuesday, the Huawei Nova 13 series was introduced in China. The Huawei Nova 13 and Nova 13 Pro are part of the portfolio. Kirin 8000 chipsets, 12GB of RAM, and 5,000mAh batteries with 100W wired fast charging capabilities power the phones. They have 60-megapixel selfie cameras in addition to 50-megapixel primary cameras. The 12-megapixel, 3x telephoto camera of the Pro model. The Nova 13 and Nova 13 Pro run HarmonyOS 4.2, which is based on Android 14, and have Huawei’s Da Vinci Portrait Engine 2.0.

The 12GB + 256GB Huawei Nova 13 model costs CNY 2,699 (about Rs. 31,800), while the 512GB and 1TB models cost CNY 2,999 (approximately Rs. 35,400) and CNY 3,499 (approximately Rs. 41,300), respectively.

In contrast, the standard 256GB model of the Nova 13 Pro costs CNY 3,699, or around Rs. 43,600. The 512GB and 1TB models of the phone are priced at CNY 3,999, or approximately Rs. 47,200, and CNY 4,499, or approximately Rs. 53,100, respectively.

Beginning on October 25, the phones will be sold in China through the official VMall e-store.

Feather Sand Purple, Feather Sand White, Loddon Green, and Star Black (which is Chinese for “black”) are the four color options available for the Huawei Nova 13 and the Pro model.

Both phones contain 12GB of RAM, although the Pro variant has LPDDR5 RAM and the standard model has LPDDR4X. They come with HarmonyOS 4.2, which is based on Android 14.

In terms of optics, the standard Huawei Nova 13 features an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide lens in addition to a 50-megapixel primary rear camera. In contrast, the Pro model has a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel 3x telephoto lens, and an 8-megapixel macro camera.

The 5,000mAh batteries that power both Huawei Nova 13 phones allow 100W wired fast charging. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, OTG, NFC, Beidou satellite communication, and a USB Type-C connection are among the connectivity possibilities.
