India will soon see the release of the Vivo V50e. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer has given several teasers that confirm the upcoming V series smartphone’s color options and important characteristics, but it has not disclosed the precise launch date. The display on the Vivo V50e will be quad-curved and refresh at 120 Hz. A 50-megapixel selfie camera and some AI functions, such as Circle to Search, are confirmed to be included. It will make its debut as the Vivo V40e’s replacement from the previous year.
Teased Specifications for the Vivo V50e
The Vivo V50e has been marked as “coming soon” on the Chinese smartphone manufacturer’s India website. It will come with a quad-curved display encircled by thin bezels will be available in Pearl White and Sapphire Blue. The refresh rate of the display will be 120 Hz. It will have a glass back and a metal frame. The new model has Aura Light and a vertical camera module, just like the Vivo V40e.
A Sony Multifocal Pro Portrait camera with three focal lengths—26 mm (1x), 39 mm (1.5x), and 52 mm (2x)—is verified to be included in the Vivo V50e’s lenses. It will have a front-facing 50-megapixel selfie camera. It is said that 4K video recording is possible with both the selfie and back cameras. The camera setup will provide a wedding portrait studio feature, which combines characteristics from the film camera mode and wedding style portrait.
The Vivo V50e will be 7.3 mm thick and have dust and water resistant ratings of IP68 + IP69.
AI Image Expander, AI Note Assist, Circle to Search, and AI Transcript Assist are among the AI-powered features that the Vivo V50e is expected to have. Users will be able to enlarge an image from its edges to a desired size with the AI Image Expander. With a single tap, users will be able to translate text, extract important to-dos, summarize content, and format notes intelligently with the AI Note Assist. Users can circle anything on their screen to search for it using the Circle-to-Search feature. Audio files will be converted to text using the AI Transcript Assist tool.
