Customers of Samsung Electronics who previously relied on their Galaxy Watches to discover lost phones may now utilize the company’s newest refrigerators to find the gadgets as well.

With its nine-inch home screen, the newest Bespoke AI-powered refrigerator collection lets users say, “Hi Bixby, find my phone,” and the improved assistant—which can recognize each family member’s voice—will ring the appropriate device.

Additionally, customers may use voice commands to turn on their window blinds or air conditioners, and the system will automatically adjust based on current weather data.

Samsung revealed its new home appliance portfolio for the year at an event in Seoul, showcasing a number of advancements. By using cutting-edge AI technology to provide a more connected and customized user experience across its product line, which includes robot vacuum cleaners and washing machines, the firm hopes to maintain its dominant position in the industry.

At a press briefing, Moon Jeong Seung, leader of Samsung’s digital appliance business’s R&D team, stated that the drive to increase AI integration across products is anticipated to increase sales this year.

Samsung is bolstering its ecosystem by utilizing its distinct position as a leader in both home appliances and mobile devices. The company’s ultimate goal is to improve connectivity for the half-billion gadgets it sells annually worldwide.
