Samsung just unveiled the Galaxy S25 series at its Galaxy Unpacked event in January, showcasing the company’s slimmest Galaxy smartphone to date, the Galaxy S25 Edge. Samsung has not disclosed any additional information on the phone, even though it has showcased the Galaxy S25 Edge and its thin visual design. The device was quite mysterious at the reveal because neither the release date nor the hardware details were disclosed. More information has surfaced regarding the April launch for India, which was the subject of recent rumors.

The Galaxy S25 Edge will be released by Samsung in April, according to a post on X by tipster @chunvn8888. But according to the tipster, this is only for the Vietnamese market. Additionally, the tipster stated that when the device is introduced in Vietnam, it will only be offered for sale at a local retailer known as MWG. The tipster did not provide a precise date, but they did provide a timeframe and retailer.

Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd), a tipster, stated last month that Samsung would launch the Galaxy S25 Edge in India in April. In fact, it’s evident that the leaks and rumors suggest an April launch, with an earlier one particularly implying a global launch on April 16.

The areas in which Samsung plans to introduce the Galaxy S25 Edge are still unknown. The extremely thin phone also seems to have a large camera module with two rear-facing cameras on the back. Its bottom USB-C port is likewise crooked, according to a recent leak. It will be offered in three colorways at launch, according to another leak.

According to expectations, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC in Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge would feature some optimizations made with the device’s thin design in mind. According to reports, the smartphone may support 25W cable charging and has a smaller than typical 3,900mAh battery.
